Our Mission

The Nebraska Funeral Directors Association represents the funeral service industry across the state of Nebraska.  Current membership represents approximately 95% of the funeral homes in the state.  The organization has been in existence since 1886.  NeFDA conducts an Annual Convention in the spring and various other educational offerings in the fall.  In addition to educational offerings, association members also benefit from:

• Legislative lobbying efforts and information

• Networking with colleagues in the profession

• Collaboration with the National Funeral Directors Association and other State Associations and Funeral Directors

• Communication pieces that provide information on updates and changes in the profession

• Opportunities to prepare for the future

• Consumer assistance and service provided by the Association
